This is a pretty good sporting goods store. Kind of a mix between an Academy and a Dick's. Pretty good selection. Was especially impressed with the camping gear.
On Thanksgiving day at 1 pm I filled out the paperwork to purchase a firearm. They told me it had to go through cooperate first. At 11:30 am the next day Im still waiting for approval. The gun department management told me they are upset about it too. Answering all the other complaints from customers. Not a way to run a gun department. CHANGES NEEDED!
I and friend went to the new Millington Tn store today to purchase handgun ammunition which is locked up. There was 1 clerk stocking shelves and totally ignored we customers. Totally unacceptable and will take our business elsewhere, besides Academy has better prices.
Good selection just a little difficult to manuver a cart with kids in some of the small aisles.
What a joke. After asking sales associate for the heritage arm 22 that is advertised on their counter for 129 he produced one. The price tag didn't reflect the sale, Kevin told me that he would change it at the register. After waiting for 45 minutes to go through not only batf paperwork but also their corporate paperwork, the price was 175. He had sold me a different gun. Kevin called the manager and instead of selling them to me at the price Kevin quoted the offered me 10% off. Just a ripoff
