Best fried okra I've ever had. Good bbq, friendly place.
This place left my wife and I feeling nauseous and almost turned me off of BBQ altogether. BBQ pork plate was cold with a random smear of bbq sauce across it. Wife's ribs were way dry and tough. White Beans weren't very good. Baked Beans average. Potato Salad excellent. As mentioned by other reviewers, fries are not good. Food seemed to be prepared by the waitress. Beautiful restaurant and yet the atmosphere is depressing with zero energy.
Excellent portions and tasty BBQ if you are in Millington and don't want to spend 25 minutes going into downtown Memphis. 5 miles from the Navy base. The staff is friendly and it has a "down home" atmosphere. Catfish is excellent too.
I am from Millington, TN. This is hands down my favorite place to go for BBQ! Friendly, fast service and amazing food! Reasonable rates too! Best bbq sauce ever! I recently moved to PA. Been missing their bbq sauce and talking it up to my new friends here in PA. I emailed the restaurant asking if they would ship their sauce to PA. Not only were they happy to accommodate, but they did so IMMEDIATELY after my request! I received my bottles last night and was BBQing today! Hate to brag but, guess who just got very popular with the Yankees today! The staff here are so friendly and certainly went out of there way to accommodate my craving for the best bbq sauce ever! Now, if we can get them to ship me their ribs! Lol
