After wasting my whole morning with these people, I went to the DMV on Summer Ave. and had my new license in under 20 minutes. That is the last time I bother with the Millington DMV.
Just moved to millington. Cant get my license because my dads name isnt on my birth certificate even though he has a court order saying it should be. Mom left. Lady wouldnt accept it and was completely rude. How hard should it be for a teen to get his license?
Just renewing with new picture didn't take long at all. The ladies that helped me were very friendly and helpful.
I went there to get my TN license. I had my current License from N.C. I am native American and Had my tribal enrollment card. The lady at the desk told me That did not make me American! How American can I get! I am Cherokee Indian! Do not go here they are racist!
I went in to change my name on my license after I got married and was refused because I wasn't changing it to the name they thought I should use. Yes, really. I explained that I had already changed my SSI card and Social Security had no problem with my married name. They informed me that they would need a court order to change my name -- all because I wanted to list my husband's last name before mine.
Let me reiterate that I had already changed my name. It was a done deal. I just wanted my driver's license to match my SSI card.
I love these ladies. For having si many negatie/rude people walking through those doors these ladies take a lot before having to be strict on customers. Been here several times since moving here and never Hate going to the DMV like I did in Charleston SC.
